Hosted by The Hong Kong Printers Association, “Hong Kong Summit – Global Printing Standardization” in 2011 had received an overwhelming response. In view of the rapid development of printing standardization in recent years, the need of printers to implement standardization continuously increase. Coupled with ISO TC130’s announcement on new and revised standards in recent years, including ISO 12647 on printing quality control, ISO 16759 on carbon footprint, M0/M1 on new measurement standard, to be launched standard ISO 15339 and so on, these new standards will bring significant impact to the printing industry. Furthermore, integrated media is going to give new opportunity to the industry. In this Summit, The Hong Kong Printers Association has invited ISO TC130 and world-renowned experts to share the trend of printing standardization development, as well as how integrated media could bring printing industry new opportunity. This Summit is funded by SME Development Fund by Trade and Industry Department of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
